As an international student, you will not be eligible for the money intended specifically for US citizens. However, as American universities have prioritized internationalization, the number of international scholarships to study in the US has increased. There are also some American universities that offer blind entry to international students for admission.

Government Funded American Scholarship for International Students

Fulbright Foreign Student Program – Probably the most popular government-funded American scholarship for international students, Fulbright offers scholarships for graduate students, young professionals, and artists to study in the US for a year or more. Open to international students in all fields except medicine.

Hubert Humphrey Fellowship Program – This is a non-degree scholarship program for international, experienced professionals who wish to pursue 10 months of academic study in the US. Although the funding degree does not support eligibility, students are able to study and develop their knowledge in educational institutions across the country.

Non-official US scholarships for international students

#YouAreWelcomeHere Scholarship – International scholarship (of which there are 57) aimed at all foreign students studying on any subject at a participating college or university in the US. You should submit an essay or video that demonstrates your interest and initiative in promoting intercultural learning and exchange. (The deadline for admission in Fall 2019 has expired, applications will open for the 2020 round in May 2019.)

Abe Road Summer Scholarship – Abe Road is offering a US $ 1,000 scholarship for language and arts students, as well as a US $ 500 fellowship for “summer enrichment” at institutions within the states.

Civil Society Leadership Awards – Fully funded scholarships are available to students from countries eligible to study at the master’s level in the US or any other host country.

David P. Shapiro Autism Scholarship – A $ 1000 scholarship in the US diagnoses autism for current or prospective students.

Antecedent Scholarship – Three winners will receive up to $ 2,000. Open to all students between the ages of 16 and 35 (domestic and international and at any study level). To enter, you must submit a 500-word essay related to online education, multilingualism and professional development.

Surfshark Privacy and Security Scholarship – The $ 2,000 award is currently available to a student enrolled in the US or as a high school, graduate or graduate student to another study destination. To apply you must submit an essay and the scholarship will be open to all nationalities.

Tortuga Backpack Study Abroad Scholarship – Awarded twice a year to passionate international students seeking to study in the US. Worth US $ 1,000.

For Asian students:

East-West Center Scholarships and Fellowships – Scholarships to study in the US within selected institutions, aimed at international students from the Asia-Pacific region.

Japan-United States Friendship Commission – An initiative run by Japan and the United States, the Commission offers grant programs to Japanese students wishing to study in the US (and vice versa).

Wesleyan Freeman Asian Scholarship Program – Scholarship for 11 exceptional Asian students from the US to study at Wesleyan University in Connecticut. Carries full expenses of tuition and student fees.

For Australian students:

Fulbright Program – The Australian-American Fulbright Commission offers scholarships to Australian citizens at all career stages. Those taking the prize participate in an academic and cultural exchange, research or study at an American institution, experience life abroad and bring back their knowledge and experience to share with their communities in Australia Huh.
For Female Students:

AAUW International Fellowship – American Association of University Fellowships offered by women to women international students to study in the US.

Bat and Ball Game Women’s Sports Scholarship – A scholarship currently offered to a woman of $ 1,000 to study a sports-related degree at any American university.

Women and SCM Scholarship at MIT-Zaragoza Logistics – US Scholarship for female students of any age, ethnicity, or nationality to study at the Zaragoza Logistics Center at MIT.

For Graduate Students:

Rotary Peace Fellowship – Scholarship to study in the US awarded to master’s degree students to study within one of Rotary’s peace centers (such as Duke University or the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill).
For students from developing countries:

Aga Khan Foundation International Scholarship Program – Scholarship for postgraduate postgraduate students from countries in Africa.

MasterCard Foundation Scholarship – Scholarship for African students to study in the US and Africa.

American University Emerging Global Leaders Scholarship – Graduate Scholarship to study in the US at American University in Washington DC. Showing leadership potential aimed at international students.

Brandis University Wien International Scholarship Program – funding opportunity for high-achieving students interested in contributing to the student community.

Clark University Global Scholars Program – Guaranteed $ 2,500 taxable stipends for first-year international applicants are available for scholarships under US $ 10,000, as well as a paid internship.
